5 Weeks old

The puppies are now 5 weeks!

3 Weeks old!

The little darlings are 3 weeks old today - well last night!  Taking photographs has proved to be quite a challenge and not all the following are examples of great photography!  I started to try individual pictures, the room itself does not have enough natural light and you see the pups have come out in various shades depending on where they have been in the light!  Flash is too harsh, I did try a couple with flash trying to make sure it didn't flash in their eyes.  They are all absolutely gorgeous and I spend far too much time just gazing at them.

Annika Poodles

We are based in North Wales and our aim is to breed quality, healthy puppies.  When I had my first poodle I was amazed at the character of these beautiful dogs.  If you love long walks, your poodle will be happy, if you love cuddling up on the sofa with a doggy companion, your poodle will love that too.  As long as your poodle is with you, they are a happy, affectionate breed.  They do need exercise of course and they do need grooming.  You can take your poodle to the Pet Salon every 6 - 8 weeks and you will find their coat easy to care for.  If you like the coat longer they do require more work on your part to ensure they are looking good!  The poodle has hair not fur, so they do not cause allergies and cause none of the problems that normal cat/dog fur cause.  They do not shed their coat, it grows, which is why you need them clipped.
